Ebony Perkins to Lead Investor Relations and Capital Aggregation for NeighborWorks Capital

NeighborWorks Capital is thrilled to announce that Ebony Perkins has joined our team as Managing Director of Investor Relations and Capital Aggregation. In this new role, Ebony will lead our efforts in developing and executing innovative capital aggregation strategies, the NeighborWorks Capital Equity Fund, and other investor engagement initiatives.

As Director of Investor Relations and Capital Aggregation, Ebony will be responsible for managing NeighborWorks Capital’s corporate investor relations and communications, overseeing rating agency relations, and creating long-term capitalization strategies. She will collaborate closely with our Chief Growth Officer on capital aggregation strategies and partner with the CFO to develop strategies to issue public debt. Her efforts will ensure that NeighborWorks Capital continues to expand our capital resources in ways that enable meaningful change.

Ebony brings a wealth of experience in impact finance and investor relations. She most recently served as Director of Impact Investments & Community Initiatives for UnitedHealthcare, where she led the national impact investment strategy. Previously, she was the Vice-President for Investor Relations at Self-Help Credit Union, where she managed a national Investor Relations department. She has also served as Donor Relations Manager at Central Carolina Community Foundation & Congressional Fellow for the Office of Congressman James E. Clyburn, Former Majority Whip.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ebony co-hosts the Renegade Capital podcast, where she interviews thought leaders who challenge the systemic barriers in traditional finance and capital systems. Her dedication to community investing is evident through her service with organizations like US SIF, Conservation Trust of North Carolina, and Women In Philanthropy.

Ebony holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Claflin University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She also earned an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Duke University.
