NeighborWorks Capital is pleased to announce the launch of our new Capital Advisory Committee, a group of leaders who will help us strengthen the way we raise, structure, and deploy capital to support organizations across the NeighborWorks network.
The committee is part of our broader NeighborWorks Capital Advantage Partners (NCAP) initiative, which works to connect NeighborWorks organizations with the capital, expertise, and strategic partnerships they need to strengthen neighborhoods and create pathways to opportunity. A key part of this work is understanding what organizations need to move their work forward, and ensuring those insights help shape our approach to capital.
The Capital Advisory Committee brings together leaders from across the NeighborWorks network to provide strategic insight into the capital challenges and opportunities facing their organizations and communities. Their perspectives will help inform our capital-raising strategy, guide the development of new financing solutions, and ensure that the resources we secure are responsive to the network’s evolving needs.
Committee members will serve as thought partners by sharing on-the-ground insights, identifying emerging trends, and helping shape innovative approaches to expanding access to capital. The committee will also create opportunities for peer learning and dialogue around the financing needs of affordable housing and community development organizations.
“We know that the best capital solutions are developed in partnership with the organizations they are intended to support,” said Jim Peffley, Chief Executive Officer for NeighborWorks Capital. “This committee gives us a meaningful way to listen, learn, and work alongside network leaders to ensure our capital strategy reflects the realities they face, the opportunities they see, and meets the needs of the communities they serve.”
NeighborWorks Capital extends its sincere appreciation to the inaugural committee members for their willingness to serve and help shape this important initiative. Their leadership and expertise will play a critical role as we continue building innovative capital solutions that expand opportunity and strengthen communities across the country.
