You've worked a lot with organizations undergoing change. What advice would you give to leaders enacting change?
Organizational , particularly now. It's important to be mindful of how different people react to change. Some people are excited by it and embrace the opportunities it provides, and others find it challenging and even threatening. Communication is critical as well as engaging people so they lead the process.
What drew you to NeighborWorks Capital?
I've always admired the NeighborWorks Network. I've attended NTI trainings for years and was excited to hear about this opportunity to do something I love with an organization that makes a difference in communities across the country.
What is your vision for this role at NeighborWorks Capital?
What's exciting about coming into this role at this time is being able to contribute to the strategic plan, which anticipates doubling our lending over the next five years. To support that vision, we will strengthen our technology platform, which allows the portfolio management team to continue to deliver excellent service for a growing portfolio.
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy traveling with my family, taking photographs, and exploring new places. We've taken road trips to different parts of the country and it's always interesting to see how the kids react.
