Piedmont Housing Alliance | Kindlewood Redevelopment

NeighborWorks Capital is pleased to support Piedmont Housing Alliance with a predevelopment line of credit for the next phases of the Kindlewood redevelopment in Charlottesville, Virginia. This flexible funding will help advance critical early-stage work, from design and engineering to site planning and approvals, laying the groundwork for new affordable homes that will serve families across a range of incomes.

Kindlewood builds on a long-standing effort to preserve and expand affordability at a site where hundreds of residents once faced the risk of displacement. As Charlottesville continues to grapple with rising housing costs and limited supply, this redevelopment represents an important step toward ensuring that long-time residents can remain in their community while gaining access to high-quality, modern housing and supportive amenities.
