Line of Credit

Innovatively Structured $2 Million Enterprise Line of Credit to Help CASA of Oregon With More Efficient and Flexible Access to Capital

• NeighborWorks Capital created the unique structure in order to address timing issues and delayed public subsidy closings.
• CASA, who works to help Manufactured Home Park (MHP) residents purchase their communities, will use the line of credit to assist more organizations and leverage their own capital to fund more acquisition loans.
• The line, secured by only 50% cash, not real estate, will allow CASA to close on acquisitions quickly, and provide more time to secure state subsidies.
• Oregon’s median home prices are the fourth-highest in the nation. MHPs make up 16% of affordable home stock.
