What if you had market leverage greater than that of the biggest developer you know?

Every day, NeighborWorks organizations are finding creative ways to meet growing community needs.  Collectively, network members produce more housing than any other affordable housing developer, by far!  As the shortage of affordable housing grows and the obstacles to progress become more challenging, we need to make the most of every potential advantage. We need to position the network to have as much power and leverage in the capital marketplace as possible.  We need to have an accurate view of our collective strength and use it to maximum effect.

At NeighborWorks Capital, we’ve been asking an important question: How can we better serve the network by helping expand access to the capital, expertise, and partnerships needed to move more projects from vision to reality?

That question is shaping our work through NeighborWorks Capital Advantage Partners (NCAP), an initiative we’re advancing alongside NeighborWorks America, the National NeighborWorks Association, and network members. It’s part of a broader effort to strengthen how national resources connect with local community impact, and it’s a conversation we believe must be built with the network, not just for it.

I’ve shared more about this vision, why we believe it matters, and how we’re thinking about NeighborWorks Capital’s evolving role in a recent blog post featured by NeighborWorks America.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read it and consider what this work could mean for your organization and the communities you serve.

Thank you for all you do to expand opportunity and strengthen communities. We look forward to continuing the conversation. If you want to learn how to participate in or support this initiative, please reach out.
