NeighborWorks Capital funded a $3,645,000 acquisition loan with Community HousingWorks (CHW) in December. This loan will assist CHW with the acquisition of two contiguous parcels of 2.5 acres in Temecula, California for the development of Las Haciendas. The Las Haciendas development will be two 3-story buildings to house 77 apartments (including one manager unit) for low-income families as well as a one-story, 2,300-square foot community center. The building will be built with sustainability features to reduce its impact on the environment and reduce long-term operating costs.
