CDFI Fund Awards NeighborWorks Capital

The innovative fund, exclusive to members of the NeighborWorks America network, will provide LIHTC equity with equitable, consistent terms, helping create and preserve more affordable housing across the country.

We are thrilled that Climate United has been selected to receive nearly $7 billion of funding from the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF). NeighborWorks Capital is proud to partner with Climate United to build a national CDFI channel for GGRF multifamily lending and to engage in market building to ensure funds reach underserved communities.

NeighborWorks Capital has achieved a milestone of $500 million in loan capital deployed to support the affordable housing development, economic development, neighborhood revitalization, and resident and community services work of NeighborWorks network organizations across the United States.
